The Fruit of the Gospel -Chino Seventh-day Adventist Church

 The following are the Scriptures we used in sharing a Good News message about the “Fruit of the Gospel” which is otherwise known as the “Fruit of the Spirit”. The Good News of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit work hand-in-hand. We receive the Holy Spirit into our lives by trusting in Jesus and believing the Gospel. This message was shared at the Chino Seventh-day Adventist Church. May the Lord richly bless you in your walk with Him.

  1. 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
  1. Romans 6: 6. Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
  1. 1 Peter 1: 3 “(God’s) divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,”
  1. Isaiah 65: 17  “The former shall not be remembered or come to mind.”  
  1. I John 3: 2  “We shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is.”
  1. I Corinthians 13: 12  “Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face”.   
  1. John 16: 14 “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
  1. John 5: 30  “I can of my own self do nothing.”
  1. I Thessalonians 5: 24  “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
  1. John 14: 6  “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
  1. I John 5: 11 & 12 “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
  1.  Colossians 2: 6  “As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
  1. Ephesians 1: 13. In (Jesus) you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
  1. Romans 8: 31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
  1. Galatians 5: 22-23.  The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  23 gentleness, self-control.
  1. John 14: 16-18  I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
  1. 1 John 4: 4 He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
  1. Matthew 24: 14   This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
  1. Isaiah 26: 3.  You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You,
    because he trusts in You.
  1. John 5: 24.  Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
  1. John 14: 6  “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
  1. 2 Corinthians 5: 17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
  1. Hebrews 4: 9-10.  There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
